DreamYard uses project-based arts learning to ignite the transformative spirit in youth, public schools, and communities.

On September 5, 6 and 7, The Public Theater's ground breaking initiative for community-based theater, PUBLIC WORKS, will present an original musical adaptation of THE WINTER'S TALE.
200 New Yorkers representing all five boroughs- including students, parents and families from DreamYard- will share the stage with professional actors for three nights of theater at the Delacorte Theater in Central Park!

Annual Back to School Movie Night

September 12th, DreamYard will host it's Annual Back to School Movie Night outside the DreamYard Art Center! There will be free food, games, music, face painting, book bags filled with school supplies (while supplies last), a Zumba fitness class and more! You'll also be able to register for DreamYard classes.
